| Can't wait for spring? Then get your fix of birds bees and blooms at the Fitzwilliam with its fantastic new exhibition of Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints and books, depicting the natural world. The centrepiece is the trio of books designed by Kitagawa Utamaro, which are generally considered among the masterpieces of book design and printing. They're welcoming back Richard Heeps as the first exhibition in their exciting new programme. | The spring flowers are just reaching their peak now at Wandlebury Country Park, just 2 miles outside Cambridge on the A1307. There are 110 acres of wide open spaces perfect for a leisurely stroll to marvel at the abundance of snowdrops and aconites. Another attraction is the herd of Highland Cattle in particular the newest arrival - Pepper - a female calf born in mid-January.
